Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order. If you do not accept the delivery charges you will have an opportunity to exclude these from the total charges.

To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Shipping And Handling We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods unless caused by our negligence.

Should delivery be delayed for more than 21 days you have the right to contact us and refuse to accept the goods. In this case we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

All furniture is only shipped within the UK, all shipping charges are for mainland UK only and excludes the Scottish Highlands and Islands. We do not ship furniture overseas however smaller items can be sent abroad, please email for a quote giving your order details and full address to sales@oldelephant.co.uk

Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away if in stock, otherwise we will notify you via email or telephone. We aim to despatch your order immediately however please allow 3 - 5 days. If your purchase is required for a special occasion such as a birthday or wedding present please let us know at the time of ordering and we will do our utmost to ensure it will arrive in plenty of time. Please note that due to the furniture coming from Mexico it can take up to 6 weeks for delivery.
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. Should you wish to return an item you must agree to pay for the cost of postage or carrier charges yourself. Items must be returned in original packaging and must be undamaged. Old Elephant will not refund postage charges should you decide to return any product, unless the goods have been damaged in transit and we must be notified of any damage caused by transit within 24 hours of delivery. You will recieve a full refund within 30 days after return of the goods assuming the goods are undamaged.

Old Elephant will endeavour to respond to any complaint within five working days.

Any information we collect about you is only used by us in order to fulfill any orders you place.

We do not send marketing information or emails.

The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name ,address, phone number, email address, credit/debit card details.

We will never collect sensitive information.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
